Safety

Finding a life partner means trusting strangers a little at a time. Here is what we do to protect you, and what you can do to protect yourself.

What we do

  • Every profile is reviewed

A person on our team checks each new profile and photo before anyone else can see it, and again when a photo is replaced.

  • Identity checks

Verified members have passed an identity check by Didit. We never store ID documents or selfies, only the result. If the date of birth does not match, the account is paused until we review it.

  • Talk only when you both agree

A conversation opens only after both of you have shown interest, and either of you can end it at any time.

  • Your number stays private

Phone numbers are never shown to other members, not even to matches. You decide if and when to share yours.

  • Photos are hard to copy

Photos cannot be downloaded, links expire within minutes, and other members see them marked with their own member code, so leaks can be traced.

  • We never ask for money

Nobody from Tuluna Bari will ask you to pay a person or send money in a chat. Memberships are paid only to the UPI ID shown in the app.

Protect yourself

Money

  • Never send money, gifts or bank or UPI details to someone you met here, whatever the reason.
  • A real partner will not rush you into anything involving money.

Conversations

  • Take your time, and involve your family early.
  • Share your phone number only when you trust the person. The message box reminds you when a message looks like contact details.
  • Keep talking in the app until you are sure, so you can report and block if you need to.

Meeting

  • Meet in a public place, in daylight, and arrange your own travel.
  • Tell a family member where you are going and who you are meeting.
  • A verification badge confirms who someone is, not their intentions.

Warning signs

Stop and report the profile if someone:

  • Asks for money, a loan, a gift, an investment, or help with a customs fee, a hospital bill or a visa.
  • Wants to move to WhatsApp or another app very quickly, or asks for your number straight away.
  • Avoids video calls or meeting your family, often with a reason about working abroad or in the forces.
  • Tells a story that changes, or pushes you to decide or act quickly.
  • Asks for intimate photos, or for your bank, UPI or identity details.

If something goes wrong

Block

Blocking hides you from each other straight away, everywhere, ends any match and closes the conversation.

Report

Reports are read by a person on our team. You can include recent messages as evidence, and we tell you when your report has been reviewed.

Write to us

For anything urgent or sensitive, email [email protected]. Complaints about impersonation or intimate images are acted on within 24 hours.

Our team never reads your conversations. Messages reach us only when a member includes them in a report, and every time staff open restricted details it is recorded. Read more in our privacy notice.
